Why didn't Acts chapter 1 mention that Judas hung himself before he fell into the field?

Because the author of Acts (Luke), who was a doctor, when talking about a death used more descriptive language than Mathew (a former tax collector). For the intention of Mathew saying that Judas hung himself was enough.
