Hm.my right lung makes a weird sound when i exhale heavily?

kind of like a snore..and i'm not sure it's my right lung, it just seems to me to be coming from the right side of my thorax..and if i keep exhaling, i just start coughing. i know it's a sign that's not good, but it makes me wonder...it was sudden, i only noticed it today and yesterday i kind of started feeling 'cough-y'. i say it makes me wonder because i didn't catch any cold or anything, so it seems to me have come from out of nowhere. what could it be?
