Sleeping in a room with a strange person in a Hostel what do you think?

I will go to London Tomorrow and I boke for the first night a room in a Hostel with 2 beds so I will sleep in a room with a strange.Anybody already pass the same situation,whats the experience?I dont know if I gonna like,maybe if it is a pretty lady I will but if it was a man that snores too loud it will be a nightmare.What do you think?
